Graduate Program

M.S.E.C.E. Degree

Two options are available:

  • a research degree requiring a thesis   or
  • a courses only degree.

The former is designed for individuals seeking an in-depth research experience in addition to course work and it often the choice for students who are interested in the Ph.D degree. The course based degree is designed for working engineers or recent graduates who want to broaden their knowledge base. The thesis option is available to all students while the course based degree is only available to Outreach or part-time students. Transfer is not permitted from the thesis degree option to the course degree option.
